Just when it seemed that the number of Newdow lawsuits that this blog was covering had plunged to zero: Via this post at the "Religion Clause" blog, I learned that on Tuesday the Freedom From Religion Foundation issued a news release headlined "Nonbelievers seek to take God off currency."

He fell one opinion shy of the appellate judging trifecta, however, by failing to also issue a dissenting opinion.
