Access online today’s Order List of the U.S. Supreme Court: At this link. The Court granted review in ten cases and postponed the determination of jurisdiction in a direct appeal. The Court did not take any action today on any of the pending same-sex marriage cases.

“Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery sent explicit emails”: In today’s edition of The Morning Call of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Steve Esack has a front page article that begins, “Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery forwarded at least eight sexually explicit emails to an employee in the state attorney general’s office who later shared them with more than a dozen others, emails reviewed by The Morning Call show.”
