Posner issued today in a case in which a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit unanimously dismissed as frivolous an appeal challenging the imposition of a 50-year federal sentence of imprisonment on a 46-year-old man convicted of producing child pornography.
