Justice David H. Souter delivered the opinion of the Court in AT&T Corp. v. Hulteen, No. 07-543. The Chief Justice and Justices John Paul Stevens, Antonin Scalia, Anthony M. Kennedy, Clarence Thomas, and Samuel A. Alito, Jr. joined in the opinion of the Court. Justice Stevens also filed a concurring opinion. Justice Kennedy delivered the opinion of the Court in Ashcroft v. Iqbal, No. 07-1015, a case in which the Court divided 5-4.
