“Seeking Interlocutory Appellate Review When A Pennsylvania State Trial Court Refuses To Certify That Its Order Sustaining Venue Or Personal Jurisdiction Presents A Substantial Issue”: This was the title I proposed for this month’s installment of my “Upon Further Review” column, which appears in today’s edition of The Legal Intelligencer, Philadelphia’s daily newspaper for lawyers.

As is sometimes the case, that newspaper decided to opt for a different title, which is no doubt a risk I assumed when I decided to devote this month’s column to one particular intricacy of Pennsylvania state appellate court practice.
