The Court also issued four rulings in argued cases.

1. Justice Elena Kagan delivered the opinion of the Court in Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians v. Patchak, No. 11-246. Justice Sotomayor issued a dissenting opinion. You can access the oral argument via this link.

2. Justice Sotomayor delivered the opinion of the Court in Salazar v. Ramah Navajo Chapter, No. 11-551. Chief Justice John G. 3. Justice Alito announced the judgment of the Court in Williams v. Illinois, No. 10-8505. The Chief Justice and Justices Anthony M. Kennedy and Breyer joined in Justice Alito’s opinion. Justice Clarence Thomas issued an opinion concurring in the judgment. And Justice Kagan issued a dissenting opinion, in which Justices Antonin Scalia, Ginsburg, and Sotomayor joined.
