Massive Eleventh Circuit educational fair use copyright decision issued on a Friday produces a dearth of initial online coverage and analysis: Today, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit issued a 129-page ruling in Cambridge Univ. Press v. Patton.

At the blog “Scholarly Communications @ Duke,” Kevin Smith has a post titled “A reversal for Georgia State.”

The district court ruling that today’s Eleventh Circuit decision reverses weighed-in at 347 pages. James Grimmelmann had this post about the district court’s ruling two days after the decision issued. Perhaps not surprisingly, the case also has its own Wikipedia page.
