“2nd Circuit reverses lower court on qualified immunity finding”: Reuters has a report that begins, “A police officer is entitled to qualified immunity in a lawsuit accusing him of violating a driver’s right against unreasonable searches and seizures for reading a piece of her mail during a traffic stop, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled.”
