“MT Supreme Court denies AG’s request for justices to disqualify themselves”: Seaborn Larson of The Helena Independent Record has a report that begins, “The Montana Supreme Court on Wednesday said the state Legislature’s attempt to ‘manufacture a conflict’ with justices presiding over a case challenging lawmakers’ subpoena power was insufficient for a full recusal of the court.”

“Wisconsin Supreme Court rejects Republican-backed effort on redistricting rules”: Molly Beck of The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has this report.

In today’s edition of The Wisconsin State Journal, Riley Vetterkind has a front page article headlined “Wisconsin Supreme Court declines to adopt Republican-backed redistricting rules.”

And Shawn Johnson of Wisconsin Public Radio reports that “Wisconsin Supreme Court Rejects Proposal To Change Redistricting Rules; The Petition Would Have Required All Redistricting Lawsuits To Run Through SCOWIS.”
