Jan Wolfe and Erin Mulvaney of The Wall Street Journal report that “Judge Halts Trump Order Targeting Law Firm Perkins Coie; Administration improperly targeted the firm based on its clients’ political positions, court says.”

Kyle Cheney and Josh Gerstein of Politico report that “Judge blocks key provisions of Trump’s bid to punish Democratic-linked law firm; The executive order, if allowed to take effect, would hamstring the firm’s ability to represent clients who have business with the federal government.”

And at his Substack site, Chris Geidner has a post titled “Federal judge blocks Trump order against law firm, calling it a ‘personal vendetta’; Judge Howell issued the temporary restraining order at the conclusion of a two-hour hearing over Trump’s executive order against Perkins Coie.”
