The Associated Press reports that “Court in Maine trying water rights case from Deep South; Florida says Georgia is siphoning away more than its fair share of water, imperiling Florida’s supply and raising salinity in Apalachicola Bay.”

And The Portland (Me.) Press Herald recently reported that “Maine lawyer takes on high court case; Ralph Lancaster Jr. will preside over a federal court hearing that begins Monday in Portland.”

In Tatum v. Arizona, No. 15-8850, Justice Sonia Sotomayor concurred in the decision to issue a GVR, while Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. issued a dissent, in which Justice Clarence Thomas joined.
